Coach Sebastian Barahona – Head Coach, Wolves Varsity Boys Soccer Known to his players as Coach B, Sebastian Barahona brings over a decade of soccer experience and a lifelong passion for the game to the Shawnee Wolves program. A Shawnee High School graduate, Coach B’s soccer journey began with BOCA Junior Academy in Colombia before moving to the United States, where he went on to star for the Wolves. His talent and dedication earned him a scholarship to Oklahoma Baptist University, where he continued his career at the collegiate level. After college, he played semi-professionally with the Springfield Demize, further sharpening his skills and knowledge of the game. Coach B has been leading the Wolves Varsity Boys Soccer program with energy and vision, guiding the team to one of its strongest seasons in recent years, including a winning record and a state playoff appearance in 2024–2025. Under his leadership, the Wolves netted over 50 goals in a single season—an offensive surge that demonstrates both the team’s growth and his ability to develop well-rounded, competitive players. In addition to his role at Shawnee High School, Coach B is also heavily involved in the competitive club soccer scene, where he continues to mentor athletes and grow the sport at every level. His dedication to building a disciplined, skilled, and resilient team has quickly established him as a cornerstone of the Wolves’ success and a driving force behind the program’s upward momentum.
